Karl Braidwood is a multi-faceted broadcaster who has worked at numerous international sporting events including the Super Bowl and the 2019 World Cup.

His work as a presenter has seen him feature numerous times on BBC Two’s MOTDx and The Premier League show. He has also fronted various digital programmes for BBC Sports platforms, which have amassed millions of views.

Karl has interviewed many high-profile people within sport including Anthony Joshua, Deontay Wilder, Didier Drogba and World Cup Winner Cesc Fabregas to name a few.

Gaming and sporting culture play a huge part in Karl’s life and work, leading him to present a digital gaming strand for the BBC and present across Europe in search of stories from the football universe.

Karl also features regularly as a pundit on BBC 5 Live’s The Squad.

In a previous life Karl was a producer for the BBC and has produced content that has racked up over 10 million views and been seen across TV and Digital output and featured in external news outlets across the world. So, he is never short of a few ideas!

Karl is a huge fan of absolutely every sport – particularly football and boxing, where he is an amateur standing tall at 6 foot 3 inches and 196lbs.

Karl also read Architecture at Leeds, so has a great interest in the arts, but no-one believes him.
