About Matt Taylor

Matt started his playing career at the age of 17 and is still playing now for Swindon Town at the age of 35 as well as being their manager until the end of the season.

He's had a vastly successful career so far spending the majority of his years in the Premier League for the likes of Portsmouth, Bolton, West Ham, Burnley & Northampton Town making over 320 appearances. He also represented his country England at U21 level.

With Matt now entering the twilight period of his career he is enjoying success in the studio as well as on the pitch. He is a regular guest with the Premier League channel and Sky Sports using his vast experiences to comment on the beautiful game. 

Matt also holds the UEFA A Licence coaching badge which can only add to his knowledge but will profess he is still learning daily.

Now working as a pundit and commentator, Matt can be seen on Sky Sports and Premier League TV.
